agria uses natural resources sparingly and carefully.
The company has drawn up a carbon footprint and Tarpaulins to further reduce CO2 consumption. In 2021, for example, the lighting in all assembly halls and warehouses was converted to economical LED lamps and around 20% of the company fleet already consists of vehicles with pure or hybrid electric drives.
Agria-Industriepark GmbH also operates several large photovoltaic systems on the company premises to generate sustainable electricity and operates its own charging stations for cars.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
For over eight years now, agria has been making intensive use of the possibilities of electrical engineering in the development of new implements, using electric motors and electronic controls instead of mechanical or hydrostatics drives. The resulting considerable increase in efficiency has significantly reduced the fuel consumption of the equipment. In addition, agria's first battery-powered Implement carrier will go into series production in 2023.
ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS AREA MAINTENANCE
The Agria product range offers a wide selection of equipment for environmentally conscious area maintenance - for example, Cutterbars for wild meadow maintenance, tillers for pesticide-free weed removal or remote-controlled mowers for only once or twice a year cutting in tall grass and scrub areas.
DURABILITY & REPAIRABILITY
As children of the post-war era, agria machines have always been designed for great durability and repairability.
The exceptional robustness and decades of use of agria machines are at the heart of the agria brand. Maintenance and repair of the machines are already taken into account in the design phase.
Wherever technically feasible, for example, parts are joined together using Screws rather than Binding so that Parts can be easily replaced.
Schmierstoffe and oils are used as rarely as possible, and biodegradable substances are often used.
