The agria 3400 single-axle tractor is the proven professional classic in agria's portfolio and combines over 40 years of experience in robust, versatile work machine design. No machine class has earned the designation "all-rounder" as much as the agria single-axle tractor. With its powerful engines, the agria 3400 masters demanding tasks in gardening, landscaping, municipal applications and industry. The innovative 180° rotating Steering handle system enables seamless switching between front and rear attachment, which considerably expands the range of attachments. With the lockable Differential transmission, the agria 3400 can be controlled safely even in extreme situations, but still remains easy to maneuver. The gear-independent PTO system allows the working speed to be gradually adjusted to different conditions, guaranteeing precise and efficient work
The quick coupling system enables tool-free changes between Hoeing attachments, Cutterbars, plows, Kultivators and many other implements. The agria 3400 KL version in particular has single-wheel Lenkbremskuppl. for particularly sensitive cornering maneuvers without loss of speed. The rotating Steering handle can be adjusted in height and sideways without tools, which ergonomically optimizes work on different terrains. With optional electric start, 12 V generator and support foot, the agria 3400 is fully equipped for professional daily use.
Green space maintenance
Grassland maintenance is a core competence of the agria 3400, for which different mowing systems are available. With bar mowers, the agria 3400 is suitable for precise grass cutting on lawns and roadsides, while flail mowers can also cope with denser vegetation. The lockable Differential axle ensures safe handling without the risk of slipping, even on uneven terrain. The smoothest handling of green areas is achieved by choosing between different working speeds of the gear-independent PTO system.
Soil cultivation
The versatility of the agria 3400 is particularly evident in the flexible use of various Attachments for cultivation. Hoeing attachments loosen and break up the soil into fine seedbeds, while Turn ploughs ensure thorough loosening of the subsoil. Single ploughs and Potato digging ploughs also make the agria 3400 suitable for specialized vegetable and potato cultivation work. The rotating Steering handle allows different implements to be used in rear or front cultivation - a flexibility that minimizes processing times. Rotary harrows and Kultivators round off the range for optimum seedbed preparation and weed control.
Grounds care
For area maintenance tasks, the agria 3400 demonstrates its universality, particularly in snow clearing, sweeping and surface cleaning. With optional snow clearing blades and Snow throwers, the agria 3400 becomes a reliable helper in critical winter situations. Sweepers and Weed sweepers turn the single-axle machine into an efficient cleaning machine for paved areas, paths and parking lots. The lockable Differential axle prevents slippery movements during wet work and increases safety. Snow tracks can be optionally mounted to ensure safe maneuverability even in extreme winter conditions.

Cleaning the Cutterbar after every Insert is recommended. The blades should be resharpened regularly. The blade clearance must also be checked regularly and readjusted if necessary. The moving parts must be lubricated according to the maintenance schedule. Please refer to the Operating instructions in our Download Center for the exact details.
There are a total of five different versions of the agria 3400.
These differ in terms of Engine variants, Differential, KL and Fast speed for trailer operation.
There are two different engine variants for the agria 3400.
Depending on customer requirements, a Benzin or Diesel version is available.
On a single-axle machine such as the agria 3400, the Steering handle can be rotated by 180* to increase the attachment options for the Implement.
On Implement carriers such as the agria 5900 Bison/Taifun, the Handlebar can only be rotated by 30*, which means that all implements can be operated from the front.
With the agria 3400 Differential version, the Differential can be opened and closed.
When milling, both Wheels should be driven and therefore the Differential should be closed.
When turning and reversing, the Differential should be open to allow Overrunning of the Axle and thus easy operation.
The Handlebar version enables easy steering of the Basic machine.
Here, two additional Steering brakes are mounted on the upper beam, which are used to control the steering movements.

The agria 3400 KL (curve Steering) are not approved as they are far too dangerous in operation.
When the Steering brake is actuated, the Wheel would lock completely and the single-axle tractor would fold in.
In this case, it is only possible to carry out steering movements by changing direction on the upper beam with the Differential open with the differential version.
