Clearing

Clearing is an essential step in professional forage production and grassland maintenance - especially in mountainous and steep regions. After mowing, the clippings are left in swaths or distributed over the area, but must be transported and processed further to bring them into a storable form. Without specialized clearing equipment, this work would otherwise remain laborious manual work involving several people, which means time, costs and physical strain
Clearing fulfills several important functions: It collects the cuttings in a targeted manner, protecting the soil and sward in the process, reduces forage contamination and crumbling losses, and optimally prepares the material for subsequent processing. In steep slope regions, professional clearing is even a safety issue, as manual work entails major risks

The greatest advantage of the agria clearing machines lies in their perfect interaction: The Band rake tedds, turns and swathes the crop optimally; the Hay pusher transports the forage safely and gently in difficult terrain; the baler finally compacts it into storable bales.
With agria clearing equipment, professional farmers, alpine farmers and landscape conservationists are setting new standards in modern forage harvesting - safely, reliably, economically and sustainably all year round.

Hay pusher

The agria Hay pusher is the specialized solution for forage intake on extremely steep slopes where conventional harvesters cannot be used. With Rotor pick-up and elastic plastic tines, it offers gentle forage pick-up with minimized soiling and crumble loss. The device picks up dry crop and simultaneously transports it down the slope using a conveyor belt - replacing laborious manual work. Height-adjustable feeler wheels ensure safe depth control on hilly terrain. The elastic plastic tines adapt to any soil profile and protect the soil and turf - essential for sensitive Alpine biotopes.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Specialized solution for extremely steep slopes with gentle forage pick-up thanks to Rotor pick-up and plastic tines
  • Combines support and transport - replaces manual labor with automated conveyor belt system down the slope
  • Minimal soiling and crumbling losses while at the same time protecting the soil and sward

Band rake

The agria Band rake embodies the classic, proven concept of forage processing for versatile haymaking and grassland maintenance applications. With driven chains and vertically mounted Prongs, it is used for tedding, turning and raking the crop for optimum drying. In mountainous regions, the Band rake impresses with its low demands on the towing vehicle and power. Its proximity to the machine ensures stable weight distribution - ideal for steep slopes. Reverse operation avoids risky turning maneuvers on slopes. Can also be used for collecting leaves and clippings from rough pastures for ecological promotion.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Versatile use for tedding, turning and raking with low power requirements
  • Stable weight distribution due to proximity to the machine - safe on steep slopes
  • Reverse operation eliminates risky turning maneuvers; also suitable for ecological green space maintenance

Baler

The agria baler compacts hay into compact round bales with a diameter of approx. 55 cm - ideal for hilly terrain, small areas and horse yards. The cleared hay is pulled into the baler channel and compacted into stable round bales. This enables space-saving storage, a transportable shape and reliable forage conservation. Correct compaction is particularly important for silage production - the agria baler works according to the principle of softly compressed bales: Bale core is moderately compressed for proper transpiration, outside denser for water repellency and Guard. Impressive area output with a baling time of approx. 40 seconds per bale. Compact size ideal for chipping areas where large machines cannot be used.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Compact round bales (Ø 55 cm) for space-saving storage and easy transportation on small areas
  • Soft-hearted pressed bales prevent incorrect fermentation and mold growth with correct transpiration
  • Approx. 40 seconds baling time per bale for impressive output even in hilly terrain
