Stone burying
The Stone burier - also known as a reverse tiller, fine crumbler tiller or stone burier - is a specialized soil cultivation machine with a revolutionary mode of operation: The Auger support rotates in the opposite direction to the direction of travel, transporting stones, old turf and coarse plant residues to the soil depth, while fine crumbled soil is brought to the surface. This enables a perfectly prepared seedbed in just one pass. In contrast to conventional tillers, Stone buriers bury unwanted material and overlay it with fine soil - ideal for new plantings, garden renovations and demanding soil cultivation. Especially in horticultural practice, in landscaping and when replanting lawns, these machines save time and effort and consistently produce better results than alternative methods.
Stone buriers are ideal for a wide range of applications: Establishing new lawns and green areas, preparing flowerbeds and vegetable garden areas, ploughing up old turf before replanting, soil cultivation in cemeteries and parks, as well as specialized work in tunnel construction and on rural farms. They are particularly valuable after mechanical compaction or when soils with many stones and roots need to be worked.
Stone buriers are characterized by the so-called Blade roller with side drive: The Drive sits on the side of the machine, which guarantees that even the central areas are worked cleanly and evenly. The infinitely variable depth adjustment is carried out using a Reel or Crank, governor and enables precise settings. The ratchet clutch protects the Gear from damage if stones or other obstacles become jammed. The robust design and high-quality materials guarantee a long service life for decades.
Stone burier
The agria mounted Stone buriers are available in two standard sizes: the Stone burier U 70 with a working width of 70 cm and the Stone burier U 80 with a working width of 80 cm. Both models fit onto Implement carriers such as the agria 5900 and other single-axle series via the agria quick-change flange. With the infinitely variable depth adjustment (0-14 cm), the working depth can be flexibly adapted to different soil conditions and requirements. The side-adjustable Resetting roller ensures perfect surface smoothing and structuring of the cultivated soil. The core principle: Rotating Blade shafts throw soil material against a screen that guides stones and coarse particles downwards, while finely crumbled soil is deposited on top.
The advantages at a glance:
- Perfectly prepared soil in just one pass: stones and plant debris are buried, fine soil is brought to the surface
- Infinitely adjustable working depth (0-14 cm) for optimum adaptation to different soil types and requirements
- Laterally adjustable Resetting roller for professional surface finish and ideal seed or planting bed preparation
- Quick-change flange enables tool-free mounting and versatile combination with other implements
- Robust cutter shaft technology with overload protection guarantees durability and ease of maintenance, even under the most difficult conditions
