agria 5900 Bison / Taifun
Tool carrierThe backbone of professional space management
The agria 5900 Bison/Taifun Implement carrier represents the proven, economical solution for demanding municipalities, landscapers and professional services looking to combine reliability and performance. With its continuously variable Hydrostatics traction drive, the agria 5900 achieves optimum speed adjustment in forward and reverse without Gear shifting - minimizing clutch wear and enabling safe manoeuvring on slopes. The tried-and-tested Handlebar Active Steering with power steering combines effortless steering with sensitive operating comfort, especially for longer working periods. With different engine variants, the agria 5900 offers the right power class for every requirement.
The agria quick coupling system enables tool-free changes between all implements within seconds - a flexibility that maximizes productivity. The central parking brake, the axle adjustment for shifting the center of gravity and the gear-independent PTO speed make the agria 5900 Bison/Taifun a universal work solution. With wheel release, the machine can also be moved without the Engine running. LED safety lighting, Relief valve and raised cooling air intake are standard equipment.
Always keep your hand on the Grip:
Green space maintenance
The agria 5900 can be used for a wide range of maintenance work on green areas: Whether mulching, mowing or clearing - with the agria 5900 you can carry out all work steps with just one Basic machine. A wide range of tire options make it possible to insert the machine in visible areas as well as on road and highway embankments. Working on dense vegetation is no problem with the mulcher and the strong motorization, as is mowing with different mower bars with working widths from 70 to 205 cm, both small areas with finger mower bars and large areas with portal knife mowing attachments can be efficiently managed. Raking and clearing with a Band rake and Hay pusher or collecting the clippings with a baler round off the overall package of the agria 5900 in the field of green space maintenance.
Soil cultivation
The agria 5900 Bison/Taifun demonstrates its universality in soil cultivation with its extensive range of implements. Stone buriers separate stones and coarse plant residues and leave behind finely crumbled seedbeds. Rotary harrows gently loosen the soil and level it at the same time with the trailing Mesh pattern roller. The Triple levelling rake optimally distributes, crushes and levels topsoil in just one pass - ideal for new plants. Ridgers support vegetable and potato cultivation, while Spring tine Kultivators enable mechanical weed control in row crops. The smooth speed control of the Hydrostatics Drive guarantees optimum penetration depth for every Implement.
Grounds care
The agria 5900 Bison/Taifun is ready for use all year round for grounds maintenance. Snow blades quickly and safely clear snow from paths and parking lots, while Snow throwers can also cope with thicker layers. Weed sweepers - both single and double-head versions - mechanically remove vegetation from paved areas, while sweepers clean large areas of dirt and leaves. Weights can be easily shifted from rear-mounted to front-mounted attachments to maintain traction even when the sweeping hopper is empty. The Spreader completes the winter portfolio for even spreading.

F.A.Q. - Frequently asked questions
Search result: 9 Questions
Yes, the agria 5900 Bison/Taifun or Cyclone can mill with a Stone burier.
No swivel Handlebar is required here, as this is mounted at the front.
The Handlebar on the agria 5500, agria 5900 Bison/Taifun or Cyclone can be swiveled sideways in both directions so that the machine can also be guided in an offset position.
E.g.: on walls, fences and unpleasant vegetation such as nettles or thorn bushes.
The Handlebar cannot be rotated through 180°. This function is required if both front and rear attachments are to be used.
Our single-axle machines such as the agria 3400 are suitable for this.
Thanks to the center of gravity adjustment on the agria 5900 Bison/Taifun or Cyclone, the weight balance of the Basic equipment is adapted to the respective Implement or to the respective conditions.
This enables the user to guide the machine easily with little effort.
The Cutter bar mower works with a scissor cut principle: a moving blade glides along a fixed blade and cuts the grass like a pair of scissors. This system is particularly gentle on insects and the sward.
Cleaning the Cutterbar after every Insert is recommended. The blades should be resharpened regularly. The blade clearance must also be checked regularly and readjusted if necessary. The moving parts must be lubricated according to the maintenance schedule. Please refer to the Operating instructions in our Download Center for the exact details.
Hydrostatics such as the agria 5900 Bison/Taifun or Cyclone are hydrostatic (oil motor).
This means that there is no purely mechanical Connecting between the Engine and the Drive gears.
This makes it possible to control the driving speed and direction steplessly and without shifting gears.
Another advantage is that the flow of power to the Zapfwelle is not interrupted.
On a single-axle machine such as the agria 3400, the Steering handle can be rotated by 180* to increase the attachment options for the Implement.
On Implement carriers such as the agria 5900 Bison/Taifun, the Handlebar can only be rotated by 30*, which means that all implements can be operated from the front.
A rubber-mounted Handlebar on the agria 5500, agria 5900 Bison, Taifun , Cyclone reduces the vibrations transmitted to the hands.
This is particularly important with oscillating (swinging, swinging arm) implements such as Cutterbars or Smoothing and levelling rakes and enables fatigue-free working.
Our Spreader is suitable for: agria 3400, agria 3600, agria 3600 BM, agria 5500 and the agria 5900 series
