The agria 5500 Implement carrier is the economical solution for demanding green space, area and soil cultivation work, combining low maintenance with the reliable performance of a proven 1-Zylinder-Motor. With its innovative 4-speed reversing gearbox and individual wheel steering brake clutches, the agria 5500 is an agile implement that can be maneuvered precisely even in confined areas. The patented anti-vibration dual-axle spar bearing reduces vibrations on the Steering handle to a minimum, which leads to a significantly higher level of operating comfort, especially during longer working periods. With the quick-change device for implements (agria Mounted flange), the agria 5500 Implement carrier is fully compatible with the entire range of agria 3400 and agria 5900 implements - the basis for economical multiple use. With its Hand starter and tool-free height and lateral adjustment of the Steering handle, the agria 5500 is designed to be user-friendly. The wide range of accessories with adapted Wheels, Weights and additional attachments allows individual configuration for every specific application.

Green space maintenance
Grassland maintenance is a key application for the agria 5500, where it delivers excellent results with various mowing tools - from rotary mowers to double-blade cutter bars. The infinitely variable travel speeds of 1.0 to 7.1 km/h enable optimum adaptation to the mowed material and terrain conditions. The agria 5500 masters precise cuts on lawns, in park areas and along roadsides thanks to its robust single-wheel steering. With 4 forward and 4 reverse gears, any size of area can be worked effectively and economically. The low-vibration technology enables relaxed working without physical strain, even on longer inserts.
Soil cultivation
The agria 5500 shows great potential in soil cultivation thanks to its ability to be combined with all standard agria Attachments for cultivation. Hoeing attachments optimally prepare the soil for seedbeds, while Rotary harrows break up clods and preserve the soil structure. Levelling rakes level areas precisely, Ridgers support vegetable and potato cultivation, and Spring tine Kultivators are used for mechanical weed control in row crops. The moderate engine power of the agria 5500 is ideal for sensitive tillage work on small and medium-sized areas where the soil structure needs to be preserved.
Grounds care
The agria 5500 also demonstrates its universal versatility in demanding area maintenance tasks such as Snow dozer, weed removal and leaf collection. Snow blades are used to quickly clear snow from paths and parking lots, while Weed sweepers effectively remove weeds from paved areas. Sweepers with rotating brush rolls enable fast and thorough surface cleaning, especially in Kommunal and commercial operations. The agria 5500's gradeability concept with its stable weight distribution guarantees safe maneuvers even on difficult surfaces. Grit spreaders complete the winter service portfolio and ensure even distribution of grit.

The Handlebar on the agria 5500, agria 5900 Bison/Taifun or Cyclone can be swiveled sideways in both directions so that the machine can also be guided in an offset position.
E.g.: on walls, fences and unpleasant vegetation such as nettles or thorn bushes.
The Handlebar cannot be rotated through 180°. This function is required if both front and rear attachments are to be used.
Our single-axle machines such as the agria 3400 are suitable for this.
The Cutter bar mower works with a scissor cut principle: a moving blade glides along a fixed blade and cuts the grass like a pair of scissors. This system is particularly gentle on insects and the sward.
Cleaning the Cutterbar after every Insert is recommended. The blades should be resharpened regularly. The blade clearance must also be checked regularly and readjusted if necessary. The moving parts must be lubricated according to the maintenance schedule. Please refer to the Operating instructions in our Download Center for the exact details.
