The agria 0800 MH 85 has been developed to provide optimum support for the operator and reduce fatigue. A decisive advantage is the flexible adjustability of the Guide bar, which can be adjusted in height and sideways without tools to suit the user's needs. The lateral adjustment allows the operator to walk alongside the freshly worked surface. This prevents immediate recompaction of the soil due to footprints. The integrated support and transport wheels allow a quick and easy changeover from working to transport position, which makes maneuvering outside the beds much easier.
The Powerhoe offers maximum adaptability to different crop rows and area sizes. The working width can be flexibly adjusted to 30 cm, 55 cm or 85 cm. This allows the user to adapt the machine precisely to the row spacing and thus to combat weeds in a targeted manner without damaging the crops.
Soil cultivation
The agria 0800 is a Powerhoe developed for cultivating land that has already been worked. This conceptual difference is crucial for soil health. Powerhoes are more suitable for regularly cultivated areas. In contrast to the tiller, the Hoeing tools do not run under a closed Hood and therefore leave behind a coarser crumbling. In addition, the soil is only combed to a depth of approx. 10 cm, which prevents the soil structure from being mixed too strongly. The open working method of the Hoeing tools results in a coarser crumbling of the upper topsoil. This structure improves the water balance as it is more resistant to silting and reduces the evaporation of soil moisture. The shallow, targeted cultivation makes the agria 0800 ideal for mechanical weed control in row crops.
