Set of tires
Tip: Find the optimum Set of tires for your agria device with just a few clicks in our product configurator - individually tailored to your requirements!
Tyre
Lugged and turf tires differ primarily in their area of application:
While field lug tires with a deep tread provide optimum traction on soft or uneven ground, the flatter turf tires are gentle on sensitive grass surfaces. Agricultural profiles are suitable for agricultural soils or muddy paths, while Lawn profiles ensure clean work without damage to the turf on sports fields or in horticulture.
- Agricultural tracks: High traction, deep tracks
- Lawn profile: Less traction, gentle on the ground
The size specification for tyres such as "23 x 8.50 -12" describes the tire dimension:
- 23 = overall diameter of the Tyre in inches
→ The Tyre is therefore 23 inches (approx. 58.4 cm) high. - 8.50 = tire width in inches
→ The Tyre is 8.5 inches (approx. 21.6 cm) wide. - 12 = Rim diameter in inches
→ The tire fits on a 12-inch rim (approx. 30.5 cm).
Set of tires of different sizes are selected depending on the application and machine weight.
Smaller Tyres are suitable for maneuverable, lightweight machines in confined spaces. Larger Wheels offer better traction and higher ground clearance - ideal for use on arable land or uneven terrain.
Terra tyres and lugged tires have two different tire profiles, each with specific advantages - especially with regard to the ground and the intended use:
- Soil protection: terra tyres have a wider, flatter tread with a less aggressive lug pattern. This distributes the pressure more evenly, which protects the ground - particularly important on sensitive lawns and green areas such as sports fields and parks.
- Fewer tracks: Thanks to the finer tread pattern, terra tyres leave hardly any tracks or cuts, ideal for use on well-maintained or wet surfaces where studs would quickly cause damage.
- Better for flat surfaces: On flat terrain, terra tires provide sufficient traction without unnecessarily digging into the ground. This ensures an even cut quality when mowing.

Multiple tires
Multiple tires (also known as dual tires or twin tires) are particularly useful for green space maintenance when
- a larger contact area is required,
- the ground pressure is to be reduced,
- traction needs to be improved - B. on slopes or on soft ground.
This protects the sward, reduces compaction and the machine works more safely and evenly - especially for tasks such as mulching or mowing
Special flanges or compensation hubs are required for multiple tires or for Extension on agria machines. These serve as connecting elements to mount an additional Wheel stable and secure on the existing Wheel hub.
It is important to note that only Wheels with identical inch sizes can be combined with each other - for example 23 x 8.50-12 AS with 5.00-12 AS. Different tire diameters would lead to uneven running behavior and could damage the machine or floor.
A list of all possible wheel combinations can be found at the bottom of this page.
Grid wheels
Grid wheels - especially iron grid wheels - offer clear advantages in green space maintenance when it comes to Mower, Mulching, Band rake or Hay pusher on difficult terrain. Thanks to their open structure, the lattice bars reliably grip the ground and thus ensure maximum traction, even on wet, steep or uneven terrain. This prevents the Wheels from spinning and improves feed, for example when inserting Band rakes or baling on meadows with a lot of clippings.
Another advantage: lattice wheels are heavy and robust, which provides additional stability, especially when Slider is used to move hay or when working with implements on slopes. They are also low-maintenance as they do not need to be filled with air and are resistant to damage.
However, for sensitive lawns or for use on firm ground, turf or studded tires are often the better choice.
A list of all possible wheel combinations can be found at the bottom of this page.
Spiked wheels
The main advantage of Spiked wheels over Iron drive wheels is their better traction on extreme terrain and slopes.
Spiked wheels penetrate deep into the ground with their steel spikes and actively anchor themselves, which ensures maximum grip, especially on steep slopes and slippery ground. This is ideal for work such as Mowering, Mulching or Hay pusher, where a smooth, safe movement of the machine is crucial.

Wheel weights
Front weights
Do you own agria Basic equipment and want to maximize the performance of your machine? Then agria accessory weights are the indispensable extra for you! Whether ploughing, tilling or mowing on challenging terrain - correct weight distribution is crucial for the efficiency and safety of your work.
- Counterweight: Inserting heavy implements at the rear of the single-axle machine or pulling strongly forwards can take the load off the Wheel (or Front axle). The Front weight counteracts this effect and ensures that the machine remains stable and controllable.
- Increased tractive force: The additional weight, especially at the front, increases the pressure on the Axle(s) and thus the traction. This is essential when working hard soils, plowing or when inserting implements that generate a lot of resistance.
- Greater safety: Optimum ballasting prevents the machine from rising unintentionally (tipping backwards) or slipping, thus ensuring safe and fatigue-free operation.
Wheel combinations and track dimensions
The choice of the right wheel combination and set of tires is crucial for the optimum performance of agria implements in tillage, green space and area maintenance.
Multiple tires can be used for greater stability and a wider footprint - for example when mowing on slopes. Thanks to the rotatable rims, the Wheels on many agria models can be mounted both inwards and outwards to flexibly adjust the required track width (see track width tables).
On machines such as the agria 3400 with Differential, Stepped hubs allow the Drive wheels to be mounted on the inner or outer step, depending on the intended use. This modular adaptation increases stability and optimizes power transmission - ideal for changing working conditions.
All wheel combinations and track dimensions can also be found in our Operating instructions in the download area.
Brushes
Weed sweepers from agria offer the right solution for effective, purely mechanical Weed removal for every surface and every type of vegetation. A gentle plastic brush is available for sensitive surfaces, while the flat wire brush works reliably on normally weedy structural surfaces. The standard mixing brush ensures a strong cleaning performance on intensively overgrown areas and enables thorough removal of deep-seated plant residues. The powerful Brush with steel cables was developed for particularly stubborn vegetation, reliably clearing even deeply weeded areas. Thanks to the graduated brush types, all maintenance requirements - from sensitive coverings to heavily soiled, textured surfaces - can be tackled efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner.

Anti-skid chains can be fitted to the Wheels if required.
You can find a selection of these on our accessories page or in the configurator.
Spiked wheels increase traction on slippery surfaces, such as when working with hay or wet grass. In contrast to mesh wheels, they are lighter and have a finer grip.
Wheel weights increase the ground pressure and thus improve traction - especially for heavy work or on difficult terrain.
Iron mesh wheels provide extreme grip on slopes or loose ground. Particularly useful for mowing work on steep terrain.
- Field lug tires: Coarse tread for maximum traction on soft or loose soils - ideal for soil cultivation.
- Turf tires: Flatter profile, gentle on the soil - ideal for well-tended lawns or green areas.
There are different diameters and widths depending on the implement and work application.
These must be selected to suit the implement and the insert in the terrain.
Information on this can be found on the application pages, under Accessories and in the product configurator.
Multiple tires provide more contact area and better Base protection. Particularly useful for maintaining green areas or working on slopes, but not for soil cultivation, where traction is crucial.
Wheels with AS profile or with Anti-skid chains if possible.
You can find a selection of these on our accessories page or in the configurator.
